The busiest day of the year for us is Christmas Eve I try my best to get as much of the jobs done as possible, peeling vegetables, baking muffins for Christmas morning decorating the Christmas Cake and Yule log etc… and that leaves a little time to spend with the kids. Even though I’m really not a morning person I think that we will be doing something like this on Christmas Eve this year. I love this idea from Play Trains creating a Christmas Breakfast tradition – there version is the Holiday Breakfast Train but imagine the possibilities that you could explore with your child and their interests. J started his own traditions back in 2011 making Reindeer Cupcakes with his Nana and T has since joined in. But my own memories as a child are with cooking with my grandmothers making Christmas Cake and Christmas Pudding. Bake togetherĮach year we make mince pies as a family – all around our kitchen table each helping to make them and then we enjoy eating them together. Here are some ideas for Creating Christmas Memories that will last a lifetime for your kids. Making Christmas Memories to last a lifetime with your kidsĬhristmas is a time to create life long memories for your kids, remember those little things from your own childhood above the gifts that you got or the food that you ate.
